Character Designs and Colouring Book Illustrations for TasNetworks

Client: TasNetworks (with Small Island Studio)

Brief: Redesign TasNetworks mascot characters ‘Sparks’ and ‘Shocker’, design a new robot character called ‘Socket’, and create a series of colouring/activity book pages and coloured presentation slides for the TasNetworks ‘Bright Sparks‘ Electrical Safety in Schools program.

This project had a massive scope – the above are just a handful of the vector illustrations for this project. These ended up used in colouring books, on materials for schools, and splashed on the sides of Hobart buses. I relished the opportunity to update the designs of old characters, and to design a new character in keeping with the program’s feel.
